Description
The OceanLED X‑Series X16 combines exceptional brightness with durability and ease of installation. With a slim surface‑mount design requiring only a 12.5 mm hole and four screws, it fits almost any hull. Its custom underwater optics produce a 60° circular beam for excellent water penetration, illuminating a wide area. Built from chemically‑resistant Grilamid polymer, with a built‑in driver and premium materials, it carries an IP69K certification for water ingress protection—one of the highest in the industry. Typical versions output up to 4,500 fixture lumens (approx. 5,800 raw lumens) and support 9–32 V DC systems (12 V or 24 V boats). Available in single colours (Ultra White or Midnight Blue) or full‑colour RGBW versions (colours models compatible with DMX / smartphone app). Additional features include “Fish‑Strobe” mode (randomised strobe lighting to attract bait fish), Tritonium‑coated lens for minimal marine growth, and Active Thermal Control (ATC) to protect the LEDs in harsh environments. Ideal for boats up to ~30 ft (9 m) in standard use, the X16 is also suitable for above‑water mounting (deck, cockpit, trailer) thanks to its versatile design.
