Description
Spliced Steel Wire Rope Sling is a lifting sling made by forming one or more eye loops at the ends of a steel wire rope through a process known as hand splicing or mechanical splicing. In a hand-spliced sling, the strands of the rope are carefully unlaid, interwoven, and re-laid to create a secure eye without the use of mechanical fittings or ferrules. Spliced slings offer high flexibility, reliable performance, and superior fatigue resistance, making them ideal for critical lifting tasks, especially where the use of ferrules is not preferred or restricted (e.g., in certain offshore or nuclear applications).
