Description
NAVTEX means Navigational Telex is an integral part of WWNWS(World-wide Navigational Warning System). Ships equipped with NAVTEX receiver can receive the NAVTEX information from seashore stations: it not only includes the ID of seashore stations, but also includes navigational warning, meteorological warning, SAR and other warning information related to maritime navigation safety.
NT-7001 includes over-voltage, over-current, and reverse-polarity protection, as well as a built-in WiFi module for firmware upgrades. It also provides interfaces for external printer connection (e.g. compatible with DPU-414) and alarm output, useful for recording messages or alerting crew, and can store message data for up to 72 hours, with critical messages lockable for permanent storage.
The NT-7001 Navtex Receiver is a fully IMO-compliant maritime safety receiver designed to keep vessels updated with critical navigational and safety information. As part of the global NAVTEX / GMDSS network, the NT-7001 automatically receives coastal broadcasts containing navigational warnings, meteorological alerts, search-and-rescue notices, and other urgent maritime safety messages from shore stations. NAVTEX Receiver NT-7001 is a GMDSS equipment meeting IMO requirements. It can receive 4 frequencies simultaneously, including international 518khz and 486khz/490khz /4209.5khz domestic transmissions.
