Product Description

1. Multibeam Imaging Sonar
   Offers real-time imaging, better than what you get from simple mechanical scanning sonars.

2. Operating Frequency ~720 kHz
   This frequency gives a good balance between resolution and range.

3. Wide Field of View
   ~90° horizontally, which lets you see a large underwater swath without having to move the sonar much.

4. Maximum Range ~50 m
   It can image useful details out to about 50 meters in good conditions.

5. 128 Beams, Effective Angular Resolution ~0.7°
   High beam count gives fine detail; “effective” resolution means after processing etc.

6. Adaptive Signal Processing (CHIRP & CW Modes)
   Supports modes like CHIRP (Compressed High Intensity Radar Pulse) and CW (Continuous Wave) to improve image quality in different scenarios.

7. Integrated Sensors

   • Pressure / depth sensor (± around 2 m accuracy in some variants)

   • Temperature sensor

   • Optional AHRS (Attitude, Heading & Reference System) for orientation (roll, pitch, bearing) in some models.

8. Multiple Depth Ratings
   Variants for 300m and 750m depth rating options, letting you pick based on how deep you operate.

9. Low Power Consumption & Flexible Supply Voltage
   Typically runs on 12-48 V DC, consuming about 8.5 W. That’s reasonable for smaller platforms.

10. Compact Size & Light Weight

    • Dimensions ~116 mm × 63 mm × 40 mm

    • Weight in air ~0.43 kg; in water ~0.24 kg
      Good for platforms where volume and weight matter (micro-ROVs, AUVs, diver helmet mounts, etc.).

11. Interfaces & Connectivity

    • Main data port via Ethernet (100Base-T) and/or serial (RS-232 / RS-485) depending on version.

    • Auxiliary port for chaining additional sensors.

12. Software Support
    Comes with Tritech’s “Genesis” software for display, control, and data logging; SDKs available for Windows / Linux.
