Description
The HPx-410 PCIe Radar Input Card is a high-performance PCIe radar input card engineered by Cambridge Pixel for advanced radar acquisition. Designed to handle both analogue and digital primary radar video, it supports one or two radars via dual independent input channels. The card leverages a x4 PCI Express interface (also available in x1) and a dedicated FPGA core to deliver very high data throughput, making it ideal for modern, high-resolution, multi-channel radar systems.
Its analogue inputs are sampled at up to 125 MHz with 12-bit A-to-D conversion, capturing detailed radar returns. The captured video can be optionally down-sampled to reduce data volume before being pushed via DMA over the PCIe bus. Onboard processing handles data capture, correlation, and pre-trigger compensation, ensuring accurate and reliable radar data delivery to host systems.
The card supports a wide range of radar signal types, including video, trigger, and azimuth (ACP/ARP or parallel), making it compatible with many radar models—from commercial to specialist military systems. It also includes loss-of-signal detection and configurable I/O for system integration. Compatible with both Windows and Linux, the HPx-410 is fully supported by Cambridge Pixel’s SPx software suite for advanced radar processing, tracking, and display.
