HM-5817 electronic chart system meets the standard of Class A ECS. It uses high-performance processor with large storage capacity which can quickly response to system operations and S-63 chart display. It built-in 4G and WIFI modules to support software and S-63 chart update online. In addition, the system has strong scalability and aims to help wisdom shipping.

The HM-5817 is engineered for maritime navigation applications where electronic charting is required without necessarily meeting full ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display & Information System) functionality, though it is certified as Class A ECS by CCS. The system is built around a high-performance processor with ample storage capacity, optimized for fast chart refresh and display of vector charts certified under IHO standards (S-57 and S-63).

The unit features an embedded Linux-based software architecture with modular functional blocks for stability and scalability.
