Description
The HHP HV® Anchor is a High Holding Power anchor specially designed to withstand both horizontal and significant vertical load components, making it ideal for applications requiring multi-directional load resistance. Its advanced fluke and shank geometry ensures quick seabed penetration and consistent holding power in soils such as sand, clay, and silt. The HV® design incorporates structural enhancements to support vertical lifting forces, making it suitable for catenary and taut-leg mooring systems. Manufactured from high-grade marine steel and available with classification society certification, the HHP HV® Anchor delivers dependable performance, durability, and safety for offshore platforms, floating structures, and commercial vessels.
The HV® Anchor is suitable for most type of seabeds and it dig in quickly so that it’s highly suggested for those area where it comes necessary a fast anchoring.
High Holding Power anchor allow for a 25% reduction in weight compared to a mass anchor.
Additionally, a 10% reduction in shank length is possible, available in both balanced and unbalanced versions. The fully balanced means that the flukes of the anchor are in vertical position while heaving and will not damage the hull or get stucke behind the edge of the pocket.
