Description

The Explore E9 is the flagship underwater lighting fixture from OceanLED, engineered specifically for large metal-hulled vessels and superyachts with challenging installation zones (such as voids, tanks or bulbous bows). Thanks to its patented in-water wet-connection system, the light cartridge can be swapped or serviced while the vessel remains afloat, eliminating the downtime and expense of haul‐out and dry-dock.

With up to 13,000 fixture lumens of output, the Explore E9 deploys advanced reflector optics and a choice of beam projection angles (0° to 50°) to create a distinctive “blade of light” effect underwater, enabling dramatic illumination of hulls and the surrounding water column.

Built from high-grade marine aluminium or stainless steel, and rated to IP69K for protection against dust, water ingress and high‐pressure wash-downs, this light is designed for the most demanding marine environments. The Explore E9 also carries classification society approvals (ABS, Lloyd’s, DNV, RINA) and has been independently verified by the Water Revolution Foundation as a more sustainable underwater lighting solution.
