The easyRESCUE‑PRO is a high-performance personal emergency beacon designed to maximize safety at sea by combining AIS (Automatic Identification System) and DSC (Digital Selective Calling) technologies into a compact, waterproof, and buoyant device. Developed for use in man-overboard (MOB) situations, the device is specifically built to ensure rapid rescue and alerting of nearby vessels.

 Navigation & Transmission Details

• AIS Signals:

  • Transmits GPS coordinates, course over ground (COG), speed over ground (SOG), and device ID.

  • Position updates sent every minute (8 times/minute).

• DSC Functionality (Global Maritime Distress & Safety System):

  • Starts with “closed‑loop” to programmed “mother ships” (up to 8 MMSIs).

  • After 10 minutes (or optionally 5 min) without acknowledgment, switches to “open‑loop” (all‑ships call) .

  • If DSC distress call is acknowledged, DSC transmissions cease, while AIS continues.

 Programming & Connectivity

• Bluetooth-enabled (BT version):

  • Connect via free Weatherdock app (iOS/Android) to set up to 8 MMSI numbers.

• Alternative Programming:

  • Via DSC individual call from VHF radio or programming cradle/USB interface.
