6×24 Single-layer Rope
The 6×24 Single-layer Rope is a strong and adaptable wire rope made to satisfy the demands of demanding applications across numerous sectors. Its design provides exceptional durability, high tensile strength, and good flexibility. Tasks requiring great load-bearing capacity, rigorous tension, and long-term performance under harsh environmental conditions are best suited for this rope. The 6×24 Single-layer Rope is designed to provide exceptional performance for ship operations, cargo binding, and transportation, and it comes with a variety of core alternatives, including Fiber Core (FC).
Description
The 6×24 single-layer rope consists of 6 outer strands, each made up of approximately 24 wires, wrapped around a central core (IWRC or FC). This rope offers a balance between flexibility and abrasion resistance, sitting between coarser ropes like 6×19 (more abrasion-resistant) and finer ones like 6×36 (more flexible). It is suitable for general-purpose lifting, pulling, and rigging, particularly where moderate bending is expected, and the rope may come into abrasive contact with surfaces or materials.
