1×61 Single Twist Wire Rope is a single-strand rope made from 61 individual wires twisted in a helical configuration. The typical construction consists of one center wire surrounded by four concentric layers:
1 + 6 + 12 + 18 + 24 wires. This rope provides superior flexibility, smooth surface finish, and higher fatigue resistance compared to 1×7, 1×19, or even 1×37. It is designed for applications demanding both strength and enhanced bending performance, while maintaining a low stretch profile and round, clean geometry.
