weBBoat® Plus 5G is the new integrated COASTAL INTERNET 5G/Wi-Fi DUAL SIM system designed by Glomex to surf the internet at high speed, ensuring stable and fast connections up to over 30 miles away from the coast. weBBoat® Plus 5G is equipped with 4 5G antennas that receive the internet signal and redirect it inside the fiberglass boat with a safe and protected WiFi network that can be used simultaneously by 32 different and authorized devices. Thanks to weBBoat® Plus 5G you have an ultra-fast connection download speed on board: up to 2.5 Gbps. Furthermore, if you are browsing in an area without 5G coverage, the 5G CAT 23 unit allows you to have a 4G connection speed of up to 1Gbps. 5G offers a connection with the same fiber level, but totally wireless and therefore perfect for use on board.
Inside the dome, there are 4 high-performance 5G antennas and 2 x 2.4/5GHz MIMO Wi-Fi to optimize data transfer speed with a huge increase in connection speed. This means you can watch streaming TV channels and platforms like Netflix offshore, or work remotely on your boat, using your internet connection as you would on land.

The weBBoat® 5G Plus combined with the new Glomex SIM Extender, in addition to expanding the number of available SIMs, allows the connection between the two devices up to 100 meters away, allowing you to position the weBBoat® 5G Plus wherever you want, to obtain maximum performance , without worrying about changing SIM cards.

With the new Glomex SIM Extender it is now possible to have not just two, but 4 SIMs at hand, installing Glomex weBBoat® wherever you prefer up to a maximum distance of 100 m, using an RJ45 Ethernet cable for connection.

When the SIM Extender is connected to the weBBoat 5G Plus, the App interface automatically shows the status of the 4 SIM Cards with the possibility of selecting them or monitoring their operating status in real time.

As with the weBBoat 5G Plus, from the same App it will be possible to restart, restore and possibly update the SIM Extender’s firmware, all with one click.

Furthermore, if a known Wi-Fi network is present and available (for example the marina Wi-Fi network), weBBoat Plus 5G will automatically connect to it to limit internet connection costs. weBBoat® Plus 5G is a PLUG&PLAY product that only requires a 10 to 30 Volt power cable and one/two Micro-SIM cards for internet browsing; all this makes the system particularly easy to install. weBBoat® Plus 5G is also easy to use thanks to the new free Glomex App available for free for iOS and Android devices. weBBoat® Plus 5G has additional features such as the “carrier aggregation” function to optimize data transfer speed and exploit all the potential offered by the internet, automatic choice of APN, management/reading/sending of SMS to monitor consumption internet and automatic switching mode with onboard satellite/V-SAT internet devices and a real-time peer-to-peer encrypted connection for remote configuration and technical support that increase the performance and usefulness of your system integrated Coastal Internet.
