6×61N Single-Layer Rope
Description
The 6×61N wire rope is a single-layer steel wire rope with 6 outer strands, each composed of approximately 61 individual wires, with the "N" denoting a standard construction (non-modified) — usually Seale, Warrington, or filler wire type without internal modification as seen in "M" (modified) versions. Compared to the modified type (6×61M), the 6×61N is generally less optimized for extreme fatigue resistance, but still offers high flexibility, smooth surface contact, and even load distribution, making it suitable for medium to high-cycle bending applications.
Feature of 6×61N Single-Layer Rope
- High Strength and Load Capacity: Capable of withstanding heavy loads without compromising on performance, this rope provides the necessary strength for demanding applications.
- Flexibility: The 6×61N rope offers excellent flexibility, making it suitable for use in dynamic systems where bending and twisting are required. The fiber core (FC) construction offers enhanced flexibility, while the IWRC ensures the rope retains its shape under heavy loads.
- Durability: Designed to resist wear, abrasion, and fatigue, the 6×61N rope ensures a long service life, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
- Corrosion Resistance: Available in galvanized or smooth finishes, the rope is resistant to corrosion and rust, making it perfect for outdoor or marine applications.
- Smooth Operation: The construction of the rope reduces friction during lifting or towing, ensuring smooth and efficient operation, which is essential for tasks requiring precision.
